Friday 

5:30 – opening of the event complex, expo, limited distribution of race kits – Habanim St.

6:20 – Warm up, coffee and reception – City Garden, HaGalil St.

6:30 – Marathon + Half Marathon – Entry to start corral, according to target time and pace – HaGalil St.

6:50 – Greetings and briefing – starting line

7:00 – Marathon + Half Marathon start

7:05 – 10km runners, Entry to start corral according to target time and pace.

7:20 – 10km start

7:50 – Expected winners at the finish line

9:30 – General winners’ ceremony – places 1-2-3 of all heats

11:00 – Cutoff and closing of the Half Marathon course

13:00 – Cutoff and closing of the Marathon course

13:30 – Closing of the event complex

Race kit distribution

  • Runners registering for the Marathon (42.2 km), Half Marathon (21.1 km) and 10 km:
  • The race kit includes:
    • ADIDAS dry-fit shirt, for those who purchased it (NIS 50 at registration)
    • Bib number and disposable electronic measuring chip
    • A designed sticker for your car.

  • A medal at the finish line

Distribution dates:

  • Dates and locations for distribution at the center will be posted soon.
  • Wednesday  – Marathon City (Archaeological Garden – Habanim Street, Tiberias): 10:00-19:00 – distribution of kits
  • Thursday the event complex (Habanim Street): 10:00 – 21:00 – distribution of kits – central event complex
  • A runner who didn’t collect race kit by X will not be able to receive it even after the race.

Race code of conduct for elite runners

  1. The bib number must be worn on the front of the torso, on the upper garment, where it is visible. Do not fold the number or hide any writing on it.

The electronic chip is affixed to the chest number – do not disrupt its operation in any way

  1. A competitor is not allowed to run with electronic equipment such as headphones, telephone, radio, etc.
  2. Starting before the start signal is given may result in disqualification (even if the race was not returned, and even after the end of the race).
  3. A competitor is not allowed to shorten the route. The race course includes roads and the running on the outer side of traffic circles only. Do not run on sidewalks or cross through traffic circles.

Failure to pass over one of the measuring tapes on the track can lead to disqualification.

  1. A competitor is not allowed to be escorted by any vehicle, or escorted while running, when the escort is moving on the race course.
    A trainer who wishes to ride on a bike from station to station can do so by advance coordination with the race director or someone authorized to do so on his behalf. Provided trainer uses parallel paths where they exist.

Trainer should not pull a runners but act as a mere observer – and only at the official refreshment stations where he can offer help to the runners.

  1. A competitor can receive food and drinks as well as some personal equipment (such as gloves) at an official race station only.
  2. A competitor may transfer to another competitor a drink or what was taken at an official station or carried by the competitor from the start of the race. However, such continuous assistance by one athlete to another may be considered prohibited assistance.
  3. At each station, the elite runners’ bottles will be placed on the first table, which will be handed out by them only during the distribution of evaluations the day before the event. The bottles must be clearly marked with stickers (they will be available to the runners).

Competitors who violate these rules are subject to a warning, and disqualification in case of another offense. In some cases direct disqualification is possible.
